I'll let you buy me one! Not that I need a mini-supercomputer INSIDE my gaming computer HAHA! When games start taking advantage of things like that I'll look again, heh.

Nvidia also announced it's new Pascal GPU that will take the place of the current Maxwell architecture sometime in 2016.
You can check out PC Gamers article here.
The take away is that they're doing what they're referring too as 3D Memory. That is, instead of a big long board, they're stacking chips vertically on top of the GPU itself. Building chips on top of chips. Supposedly this offers a much MUCH greater amount of bandwidth.
What it also means is shorter cards that require less cooling for bigger speed increases. This looks to be the next big leap in GPU's. Vin's suggestion? Upgrade now to a top end Nvidia or Radeon card and then hold tight until this comes out.

$3,000? That's a bit out of my price range. Absolutely a cool card. By the time it gets down to $500 I'll be ready for an upgrade :)
